FMI Quality Manual

The Quality Manual defines the Quality Management System implemented at Frequency Management International, in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standard. This Quality Manual identifies the Quality Policies, Procedures, and Objectives to support Frequency Management International’s Business Plan and to ensure that our products and services meet both the specified customer requirements and our business objectives in a consistent, economical, and reliable manner. Design and Development

FMI takes pride in providing custom products to our customers for their very specific application. Design and development of our product is planned and controlled. We build and carry out comprehensive testing of our prototypes. There are review, verification, and validation processes appropriate to each design and development stage. We continuously strive to improve product performance by design while further fine tuning our manufacturing process. Interfaces between different groups involved in design and development are managed to ensure effective communication.

Materials

FMI’s industry-leading product reliability reflects the quality of materials used. FMI purchases materials from a list of qualified suppliers who satisfy a stringent criteria including: Highest Quality, Cost Efficiency, On-time Delivery and Long-Term Partnership while adhering to the highest standard of product control in the industry. Manufacturing and Testing

We perform 100% Inspection, In-Process and Final Electrical Tests for all our products. And in most all cases, the parameters that we test our products to are over and above the industry standard. We use some of the latest equipment in the market to manufacture and test a wide range of product families.

Traceability System

Good traceability provides our customers with the peace of mind that we are monitoring every element in our manufacturing process and shipping the highest quality finished goods. We identify and record a unique identification of elements in our products to ensure effective traceability. Our crystals are identified by its frequency values throughout the processes. Product status is monitored throughout our manufacturing operations.

Record Retention

Records required for our Quality System are established and controlled to provide evidence of conformance to requirements, and of the effective operation of the Quality Management System.

ESD Compliant

We protect our products from ESD with proper grounding and with the use of static control packaging and material handling products. Static control programs are in place with considerable emphasis on controlling personnel-generated electrostatic discharge.
